Dr. Campbell leads Rox Dental Studio with a patient first approach. After years as an associate, he purchased the long-standing practice in 2025 to expand access to high quality family dentistry in Roxboro. Patients appreciate his calm chairside manner, easy to understand explanations, and focus on prevention and long term oral health.

Practice Manager
With 19 years of experience in the dental field, Shannon brings extensive knowledge and dedication to her role as Practice Manager. She oversees daily operations with efficiency and care, ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and team members. Passionate about patient education, she takes pride in helping individuals better understand their dental health and treatment options. Outside the office, Shannon enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and sharing quality moments with her family.
Courtni Campbell
Dental Hygienist
Courtni Campbell, RDH has been a valued member of our dental team since 2022, bringing warmth, skill, and dedication to every patient she sees. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, Courtni has been practicing dental hygiene since 2018. Originally from Roxboro, Courtni loves serving the community she grew up in. She enjoys the personal side of dental care by spending time with patients, building lasting relationships, and providing education that helps them maintain healthy, confident smiles. Outside the office, Courtni lives in Roxboro with her husband, Dr. Campbell, and their two dogs, Molly and Bella. She enjoys spending time with her family, listening to Taylor Swift, and volunteering in her community.
Mariana Alcaraz
Dental Hygienist
Mariana graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene. Originally from Person County, she’s grateful for the opportunity to care for the community she knows and loves. Mariana is bilingual and eager to meet many new patients and help them meet their oral care needs. Her clinical approach is providing her patients with comfort, proper education, and treatment personalized to their individual needs. Her priority is ensuring every patient leaves the office smiling and feeling their best. Outside the office, Mariana enjoys traveling, sporting events, horseback riding, fitness, walking her dog Canela, and spending quality time with her family, friends and fiancé.

Holly is a dedicated dental assistant who takes pride in helping patients feel confident with their smiles. With a warm and friendly personality, she enjoys connecting with patients and ensuring they receive the care they deserve. Outside of work, Holly is a devoted mother of two children. When she’s not assisting in the dental office, she can be found caring for her kids or spending quality time with her family and friends. Her passion for her work and love for her family inspire everything she does.

Dental Assistant II
Jenna is one of our dedicated dental assistants who loves being able to work close to home and serve the community. She is passionate about helping each patient feel confident in their smile and strives to make everyone feel genuinely cared for while in her chair. In addition to her work in dentistry, Jenna is a part-time dance teacher at Fabulous Feet in Roxboro. She recently welcomed a new puppy named Dolly into her life, adding even more joy to her days. When she’s not in the office, Jenna enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, being with her boyfriend, and of course dancing!

Christy is a dental assistant with over 30 years of experience in the field. She has proudly called Person County home for the second time since 2009 and truly enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients. Christy is married and a proud mom of three, and she loves being part of such a close-knit community.

Lesley is a dedicated dental assistant who has always had a strong passion for the dental field. Her goal is to make sure every patient she works with feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for during their visit. She was born and raised in Roxboro, and loves being able to serve the community she calls home. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, painting, and discovering new skills.

Ishara is a dedicated dental assistant with a few years of experience and a lifelong connection to her hometown of Roxboro. Family is at the heart of everything she does. She comes from a big family and is deeply church-oriented, she finds joy in caring for her beloved nieces and nephews. Her passion for dentistry continues to grow, and she hopes to pursue her dream of becoming an oral surgeon in the future. Working in the dental office brings her genuine happiness, knowing she’s helping patients gain confidence in their smiles. When she’s not assisting chairside, you’ll most likely find her babysitting, surrounded by the family she loves.

Introducing Stephanie, formerly a Dental Assistant, now serving as one of our Patient Services Representatives. She is responsible for coordinating patient schedules, verifying insurance coverage, and managing prior authorizations to ensure smooth and efficient experience for every patient. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and daughter Brynleigh.
Kaitlin
Patient Services Representative
Kaitlin has been a dedicated dental assistant since 2018 and with our office since 2021. A graduate of an accredited dental assisting program, she successfully passed four national board examinations, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in patient care and clinical skill. She has a passion for educating patients and especially enjoys assisting with crown preparations, her favorite procedure. Outside of the office, Kaitlin lives in Roxboro with her husband, children, and their three beloved dogs. She values family, community, and creating a positive experience for every patient she meets.
